2022 Wagoneer vs Grand
Wagoneer

2022 Wagoneer or the 2022 Grand Wagoneer?

The time has finally come to buy a new vehicle, and now you're tasked with deciding what model you want. You can either pick the 2022 Wagoneer or go the extra mile with the 2022 Grand Wagoneer, but you might be wondering what the difference between the two is. At Mac Haik Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Jackson, the faculty and staff strive to make sure that our Jackson customers are informed about every aspect of your purchase so that you know all the benefits and features of your new model.

What Is a Wagoneer?

The Wagoneer is a three-row SUV designed by the engineers of Jeep, combing all the space and luxury of a larger SUV with multiple safety features and newfound technology. The 2022 Grand Wagoneer is a direct upgrade to the original, but they do have a few things in common such as the interior layout. You can also expect to house up to 8 passengers in each model comfortably so that no man is ever left behind. With the roof rack, you can even take some of your favorite items that just won't quite make it in the trunk, like a bike or even a canoe. Both of these vehicles offer premier flexibility that you'll be hard-pressed to find anywhere else.

The Power of Technology

The 2022 Wagoneer comes with the main center touchscreen standard along with three other optional entertainment screens that are great if you have kids. The 2022 Grand Wagoneer kicks this up a notch though, as it has 75 inches of the maximum display area that you can find broken up around the vehicle. The driver has the infotainment screen of course, but there's also a passenger screen, comfort control screens, and even two rear-entertainment screens. The Grand Wagoneer doesn't discriminate on who gets to have access to all the technology, so every passenger gets a taste of luxury. With the standard technology of both models, you can easily plug in navigation, play your favorite songs, and even connect your phone for easy calls.

The Capability

Both of these models can tow up to almost 10,000 pounds, with the 2022 Wagoneer coming with a 5.7L V-8 engine that can put out an impressive 392 horsepower. The 2022 Grand Wagoneer is similar but has a 6.4L V-8 which can kick up a little bit more horsepower. This means that you can jump to 60mph in only 6 seconds, which is impressive for an SUV of this size. When you're stuck between the two, both offer a respectable amount of power and drive, so that you never have to wonder if your vehicle can handle the road ahead. The Grand Wagoneer also comes with four-wheel drive standard, while the Wagoneer comes with rear-wheel drive. If you're concerned about needing that extra little boost, the Wagoneer can also be equipped with three different 4x4 systems, allowing it to compete with the Grand Wagoneer on equal footing.
